Children's Art Club is a place where children can upload and share their works of art with family and friends. Children are assigned their own galleries where they can keep all their pictures. After a picture has been added to their gallery they can announce the new picture to friends and family. People can then view the picture and add comments to the picture. Not only is this great fun for friends and family situated just round the corner from you it is also a great way to keep in touch with friends and family living further a field.
Child Protection on Children's Art Club
The protection of children using the internet is of utmost importance. Childrensartclub has been carefully designed with Child protection in mind. Only Friends assigned by the artist can post comments onto the site, artists cannot be contacted by users or members of the site as there is no method to do so. All e-mails sent from the site will be sent using the Childrensartclub generic address so the artist's e-mail address will remain anonymous. All comments added to the site will be logged and kept including the IP address of the comment author. If you see a comment that you believe may cause offence or is unsuitable for the purposes of this website then please contact richard@childrensartclub.co.uk
You need to be a member of the club before you can add pictures. All you need to do is fill out a short form. You will then receive an email asking you to confirm your membership.
There are three different types of accounts at Children's Art Club.
The first is for artists under 18 who would like to upload their pictures.
The second is a simpler account for family and friends who would like to add comments to pictures.
The third is a school administrator account, the school administrator can add pupil artist accounts.
Multiple Accounts on Children's Art Club
Only one account per Artist is permitted on Childrensartclub.
Membership details will be recorded on the website and routine checks will be run. Any duplicate accounts will be deleted.

What Type Of Pictures Can I Upload to My Gallery?
Any type of picture can be added to your gallery. You can draw pictures on your computer or upload a picture drawn by hand that has been turned into a digital picture. To turn a hand drawn picture into a digital picture you can either scan the picture with a scanner or take a photo of it with a digital camera. If you are a budding child photographer then you may upload your artistic photographs. If you use a scanner to copy a picture please save it as a Jpeg (.jpg).
To draw pictures on a PC you need a piece of drawing software. Children's Art Club have an excellent drawing tool which will allow you to save your pictures to your local PC for uploading to your gallery.
We have made the process of uploading pictures as simple as possible. To upload a picture all you need to do is tell us where the picture is on your computer.
After logging in you can upload your pictures at: Upload a Picture
The upload utility is available in the Your Art Club section. A button to take you to the Your Art Club section can be found on the right hand side of the page.

Telling Friends and Family About Your Pictures
After you have added a picture you can send a mail to friends and family asking them to come and see your picture. So if mum or dad are at work they can soon see what you have been up to. It is also easy to show your picture to an auntie, uncle, grandparent or a friend.
Anyone can add a comment to a picture. If you are listed as a friend of the child who drew the picture you are able to add a special, personal message. If you are not listed as a friend you are still able to select a comment from our predefined list.
Anyone you set up as a friend is able to add personal comments to your pictures. You can also choose to automatically send a message to your friends when you add a new picture.
